Certified Excellence
Half of Very Demure products are COSMOS ORGANIC certified, meaning our formulas meet the highest international standards for natural and organic cosmetics.
The COSMOS Certification 🌿, awarded by Cosmecert. We adhere to strict, public and official specifications (COSMOS standards) governing formulas, packaging and manufacturing.
To be certified organic, a formula must comply with at least the following COSMOS criteria:
🌱 95% ingredients of natural origin minimum.
🌿 20% minimum organic content in the formula (excluding non-certifiable raw materials and rinsed products: 10%).
🌱 Organic plant extracts must have been grown without GMOs or pesticides.
🌿 Fragrances must be 100% of natural origin.
🌱 Formulas must not contain ingredients of synthetic or petrochemical origin (parabens, phenoxyethanol, mineral oils, synthetic fragrances and colorants).
🌿 Formulas must not contain ingredients of animal origin, with the exception of those naturally produced by animals (honey, milk, eggs, etc.) BUT we decided that we wouldn't use these ones either since we are a totally vegan company.
